West Ham United have placed themselves to battle Arsenal and Liverpool to try and sign Eintracht Frankfurt star Hugo Ekitike this summer.

That’s according to Foot Mercato, who report that Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham are all in the picture for the Frenchman.

They explain that after a little over a year at the German club, Ekitike has proven to be a bet worth taking for the German club.

They are very much planning for him to be their next major sale, and the striker has been noticed by several teams in Europe who are ‘ready to draw their guns’ for the former PSG man.

The Premier League are particularly ‘charmed’ by the striker, who has 17 goals in 32 games this season, and Arsenal and Liverpool are in the running. West ham have also positioned themselves in the developing race after previously following him before he left PSG.

They will have to pay big, though, as a recent repot in Germany indicated that Frankfurt would like to sell him in the summer of 2026 for a minimum €80m. They would presumably want more to sell this summer.

Either way, they are eyeing a major sale for a player who cost them €20m in a loan fee and €16.5m purchase clause. That deal also saw PSG hold 20% of any profit on a future transfer for the striker.

They’ll be set to earn then if Arsenal, Liverpool or West Ham make their moves in the summer, when Ekitike could be a target for all three Premier League clubs.
