It appears that West Ham United are growing soft, or at least softer, with the knowledge that Arsenal are about to pay a lot of money in their bank account.
This is exactly what AS Roma were hoping for, and Il Tempo claim on Friday that the Hammers’ stance regarding the exit of Scamacca is playing more and more in the Italians’ favour.
The local newspaper have a short update on the striker’s situation, as the Italian would ideally like to leave West Ham to play under José Mourinho, where he could be closer to his entire family and play in a league he has already excelled in.
Still, Il Tempo do make it clear that ‘patience is needed’, as this won’t be done overnight, but the London club are ‘moving towards opening up’ when it comes to loaning Scamacca out.
However, the Serie A side will ‘still need to make a small economic effort’ when it comes to their proposal for a temporary deal, with the outlet suggesting maybe a fee up front could get West Ham to open the door that little bit further.
Either way, it seems that, after much talking and some insistence from both the player and AS Roma, David Moyes can see himself without the Italian around next season.
