As Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb today writes about FC Zürich defender Becir Omeragic, they include West Ham United in the race for the player.
The report’s main subject is the interest from Torino, where it’s claimed that as the Turin side get ready to lose Gleison Bremer this summer, the club now see the Swiss international as an alternative in the market.
Omeragic is highly praised in the story, which claims the Serie A side’s interest is because of his young age and the ‘room for improvement’ he’s been showing for club and country.
So with him showing such potential, it’s natural that Torino aren’t alone in the race.
Milan had been linked to him in January, and now it’s West Ham who could make competition for his signing.
Tutto Mercato claims there are ‘open dialogues with other teams in the top flight’ in Italy and with West Ham.
Still, there aren’t any details on how much the clubs are willing to spend on the defender, or how big Zurich’s demands are.
The youngster is valued by Transfermarkt at €20m.
