West Ham and Newcastle offers to sign defender currently ‘being considered’ by club

Daniele Rugani is one of the players Juventus are trying to offload before the window closes on October 5th and clubs in England are looking at him.

On Tuesday, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported there’s strong interest from West Ham United and Newcastle United in signing the centre-back.

Well, Calciomercato have a small update on the situation in a report focusing on the Serie A winners’ interest in Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa.

It’s claimed the Turin club first need to trim their squad and raise funds from the sale of some of their fringe players. Rugani is included in the list, and the Hammers and the Magpies get a mention.

As per the report, both David Moyes’ side and Newcastle have submitted bids for signing the Italian international, and these proposals are ‘being considered’ by the Old Lady.
