La Liga side Valencia have reached an agreement with Serie A giants Juventus for Simone Zaza, reports Super Deporte.

Valencia are now hoping to wrap up a deal for the Italian forward, but West Ham and Juventus must also reach an agreement to terminate Zaza’s loan deal.

Zaza is expected to sign on loan for Valencia until the end of the season, with a mandatory purchase option of €16m should the player make 10-15 appearances.

A move to Spain will put an end to a difficult six months for the 26-year-old, who has failed to find the back of the net since signing for West Ham in the summer.

Zaza made 11 appearances for the London club, with his last appearance coming against Manchester United in November.

However, it isn’t expected to be any easier for Zaza in Spain, as Valencia are currently without a manager and find themselves just above the relegation zone in the standings.

West Ham may try to get some of the loan money back they paid, given that it was originally for a full season.
