West Ham United forgotten man Luizão has been offered to Grêmio and also has interest from Internacional.
That’s according to Bolavip, relaying information from journalist Kaliel Dorneles, who reports the West Ham man has been offered to the Brazilian club.
They explain that Grêmio are keen to change up their squad this summer and have been working particularly hard to close deals for defenders.
They had been targeting Ruan Tressoldi, who is on loan at São Paulo, but that deal isn’t progressing and that’s made West Ham’s Luizão a possibility as an alternative.
He has been offered to the club and is one of the options being looked at to reinforce their defensive options. There is also interest from Internacional in the 23-year-old.
So far, Grêmio have not sent an official offer to West Ham for the defender. They are currently evaluating whether the young defender fits their style and system before moving forwards.
Luizão is currently on loan at Pogon Szczecin, but that deal ends at the end of this month. He’s made six appearances for them sine signing in February.
Now a return to Brazil could be on the cards, but only if Grêmio decide he’s the right fit and make an official offer to West Ham first.
