West Ham United’s Guido Rodríguez previously had spells at River Plate, Club América and Real Betis.

The Argentina international joined West Ham on a free transfer in August and could leave them in the summer window.

That’s according to Soy Del Millo, who state West Ham are trying to find a way out for the 31-year-old.

Rodríguez has offers from Club América and Real Betis, but journalist Marcela Brachetti that he ‘wants to return to River Plate’. There’s no clarity whether the Argentine club have also submitted a proposal for him, but they have made it clear they want him back.

Over at Estadio Deportivo, they also state the midfielder’s future could be ‘far away from England’.

Graham Potter started him against Manchester United last weekend and prior to that, he only played for a minute in the league in over three months. River Plate want to offer him an escape route in the coming weeks.

The South American club are looking to sign the West Ham player for the Club World Cup in June. Estadio state the negotiations will take place at the end of May and Rodríguez will ‘have to take step forward’ if he wants to return to Argentine.

In short, Rodríguez is handling offers and needs to make a decision on whether to leave West Ham in the upcoming window.
