There may be quick developments in the Boulaye Dia claims, if Saturday claims coming from France are to be believed.

Sport.fr report, according to their own information, that West Ham are set to make an offer for the striker ‘in the coming hours’, trying to secure his signing after several days of repeat and strong links to the Reims man.

That offer is expected to be around €10m plus bonuses, with Reims wanting something in the region of €15m. Willing to let Dia leave this month, the Ligue 1 side will be determined to get the best deal they can, so how those West Ham bonuses are made up will be crucial.

Still, there’s some optimism that developments can happen quickly, with it further stated a response is expected within the next few hours.

Boulaye Dia has twelve goals and one assist in 17 Ligue 1 matches so far this season, clearly an impressive return. His contract lasts until June 2022, which is partly why Reims are so ready to listen to offers for the 24-year-old.
