Lille need to bring in some money quickly.

The French club have gone through a really difficult few months and must raise €25m to have their transfer system unblocked by the French football authorities.

They’re part way there through selling Martin Terrier to Lyon for €11m plus bonuses, but still need another big deal.

Step forward West Ham United and their interest in Ibrahim Amadou.

L’Equipe report Lille have received an offer from West Ham for the defensive midfielder, and that’s a loan move with a view to a permanent deal.

The Hammers would be happy to pay a £2m loan fee, and have offered that along with a £14m buying option.

That’s no good for Lille who would need the clause to be mandatory so their transfer account is unblocked all ready for the summer.

West Ham need to restructure their offer if they want this one to happen.

Crystal Palace have also made an offer, but that’s not acceptable to Lille either.
