Even though Mario Mandzukic ended up staying at Juventus after the summer window, the rumours about his departure have never really stopped.

The Croatian international is still to have a single minute under Maurizio Sarri this season, and the local press is pretty sure he’s leaving in January.

Now Tutto Mercato Web has a story about the 33-year-old today, where website editor Niccolò Ceccarini says West Ham are one of the clubs who could land him.

The journalist is sure that Mandzukic is moving out in a few months, and the Premier League is said to be the most concrete path for him at this stage.

West Ham’s interest is said to be ‘certain’, since the club have already ‘made their intentions clear’. That’s all TMW has to say for now, with no amounts being mentioned when it comes to transfer fee of wages for the player.

But the Hammers should be aware they are not the only English club after the attacker, since Manchester United have been heavily linked as well. Mandzukic would be an impressive recruit for Manuel Pellegrini in the January, especially if he’d agree to be a back-up option.
