Following reports from Turkey that West Ham are interested in signing Steven Nzonzi, it’s the French media’s turn to join the fun.

RMC Sport on Wednesday are the ones with an update, explaining that David Moyes’ side have made a ‘good offer’ for the France international.

Not only that, but one of Nzonzi’s representative is reportedly in London on Wednesday morning to try and get negotiations over the line.

They explain the defensive midfielder is ‘studying the offer’ but also ‘biding his time’, keen to see if a club that is still playing in Europe comes knocking for his services.

The player is currently on loan from Roma at Galatasaray, but is keen to leave the Turkish side, where he hasn’t played since December, having been suspended for disciplinary reasons.

We now have to wait and see if West Ham’s offer is the best Nzonzi ends up with or if his wish of a club in a European competition comes true in the next few days.

However, if the Turkish press are to be believed (and they’ve had a decent month), then the midfielder has already said yes to a move to London Stadium.
