There is a claim in the Italian media that West Ham United are showing an interest in Inter Milan attacking midfielder Antonio Candreva, and have made an approach.
The Italy international has previously been linked with a move to the Hammers and there was even interest in 2009 when Gianfranco Zola was the manager of the Premier League club.
TMW have reported Inter Milan could offload Candreva this summer and West Ham have been reported as a possible destination for the former Lazio player.
It’s claimed the London club see the Italian as a possible replacement for Manuel Lanzini, who picked up a cruciate injury on the eve of the World Cup. The Argentina international is expected to be ruled out long term.
According to TMW West Ham are likely to face competition from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
Candreva is contracted to Inter Milan until June 2020, but with recent arrivals at the San Siro the 31 year old may leave in this transfer window.
