West Ham United are one of the clubs in the race for the signing of Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler, according to reports from Spain.

Outlet Fichajes today writes the Mestalla side are ‘very worried’ about the player’s future, as his contract expires in 2023 and he’s still to sign a renewal.

It’s said the relationship between player and club has gone ‘cold’ in the past few days, and as things stand, he’s now closer to leaving than staying at Valencia.

With West Ham likely to ‘lose’ Declan Rice in the summer, with several clubs asking about him, it’s said they already plan to go after a replacement, and that’s where Soler comes in.

West Ham reportedly like the Spaniard ‘a lot’ and could end up making a ‘great proposal’ for his transfer this summer.

The Hammers, however, aren’t alone in the race, as the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus are said to be interested in the 25-year-old as well.
