Pedro Obiang has been linked with a West Ham exit since he arrived at the club. Having made his name coming through the ranks at Sampdoria the midfielder has been repeatedly linked with a return to Italy, with claims last summer that Torino were about to swoop.
Obiang was born in Spain, and so there have also been rumours about the 25 year old returning home. Sevilla are likely the Spanish club most linked with Obiang, and in December it was reported the West Ham player had his suitcase packed and was ready to go.
It was Italy’s TMW reporting the possible move back then and they said Obiang was keen on both Sevilla or a move to Serie A.
Neither happened, and so this summer was bound to bring further rumours. Mundo Deportivo report in their Thursday edition that Sevilla are keeping an eye on the situation, with a possible transfer on their agenda.
Should Obiang once again stay at West Ham, one thing is sure… the next transfer window will bring more rumours.
