Real Madrid news source Defensa Central have an exclusive regarding West Ham interest in two players at Los Blancos.

It’s claimed the Premier League side are keen on both Luka Jovic and Mariano Diaz, and would be looking at a signing for the January window. Both players have struggled to find prominence under Zinedine Zidane and that would make a signing easier for the Hammers.

David Moyes’ side would presumably only be interested in completing a deal for one of the pair, and Defensa Central makes it clear that Real Madrid would be willing to do business in the winter market.

When it comes to Jovic, Madrid would prefer the 22-year-old leaves the club on loan. They still believe there’s a lot of potential in the Serbian and are surely aware that in the case of a permanent transfer they wouldn’t get back the €60m they paid to Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer 2019 transfer window.

For Mariano Diaz, a permanent sale would be Madrid’s desire as they seem to have given up on the player. The 27-year-old has a contract lasting until June 2023 and has previously been reluctant to leave the Spanish side.
