The Frenchman could be offloaded by the Serie A side and the player was last week linked with a move to Crystal Palace and Everton.

Il Tempo today report on the latest developments over the future of Gonalons and West Ham have emerged as a potential destination for the player. With Roma’s interest in Seville’s Steven Nzonzi, his compatriot may be sold by the Italian club. It’s also claimed the Italian club are casting an eye on the Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka.

West Ham have spent big in this transfer window, but it seems they are still looking to bring in additions before the deadline next week.

Last week we covered reports from Italy that Crystal Palace had tabled a bid of €10m for Gonalons, but the former Lyon is unsure about a move to Selhurst Park.

Everton have also been linked with the central midfielder with claims the Toffees have also made an offer for the player.
