1. FC Nürnberg’s Finn Jeltsch has ended up on West Ham United’s transfer agenda.
That’s at least what Sky Deutschland are reporting, and they cover the Hammers’ interest in the 18-year-old.
The centre-back graduated from the second division German club’s youth system and was promoted to their first team last season. Jeltsch has been a regular this season, making 17 appearances so far, and his performances haven’t gone unnoticed.
Sky focuses on West Ham as they have a ‘concrete interest’ in the young defender. They add Graham Potter’s side are closely monitoring the Germany U19 international while in action for Nürnberg.
The London club are ‘well informed’ about the conditions needed to sign the player and the plan, like his for the future. Sky haven’t explained the conditions, or the fee needed to secure his services.
As well as West Ham, there are other clubs from the Premier League and the Bundesliga showing interest in Jeltsch, but their details aren’t mentioned. The report adds he is likely to change clubs in the summer and could have several options to pick from.
West Ham have already shown concrete interest and would be in the running for Jeltsch’s signature.
