West Ham United are in the mix to sign Napoli’s Piotr Zieliński, according to Spazio Napoli.
The midfielder has a deal expiring at the end of this season and no progress has been made to renew the contract.
On Wednesday, TuttoMercatoWeb stated Inter Milan are keeping an eye on the 29-year-old to replace Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has received a rich offer from Saudi Arabia.
The Nerazzurri are serious about the Poland international and are aiming to sign him on a free transfer next summer. They aren’t the only club chasing the player as Juventus and various other clubs, with ‘West Ham above all’, are also in the tussle for the Serie A winner.
It’s claimed the Old Lady and David Moyes’ side have a ‘strong interest’ in Zieliński, who could leave the Naples club for free after this season.
The Hammers would find it difficult to secure his services because Zieliński’s desire is to continue in Italy. In addition to this, they will also have to overcome competition from Inter and Juve.
