West Ham United’s Felipe Anderson is ‘considered to be on his way out’ of the club this summer and ‘dreams’ of a return to Lazio.

That’s according to Corriere Dello Sport, who cover the player’s future today after comments earlier this month hinted at a return to his former club.

The West Ham star is currently holidaying in Rome, a ‘Roman tour’ that has being going on for ten-days.

He’s been posting about his travels on social media, and this has seen Lazio fans commenting on his posts urging him to return to his former club.

Officially that’s not on the cards, but Corriere say there are rumours that make the player ‘think and believe’ that it could happen.

Anderson would not be ‘unwelcome’ at his former club, although the conditions are not there for it to happen at present.

Regardless of that, he is considered to be on his way out of the London Stadium and Italy is regarded as an ‘ideal destination’ as he would ‘gladly play’ in Serie A again.

His managers, who he shares with Lazio midfielder Lucas Leiva, ‘are looking for a market solution’ that satisfies the forward and he would ‘gladly return’ to his former club if given the opportunity to do so.

Where he will go remains to be seen, with West Ham likely to demand a big fee if he is to leave this summer.

They paid £34.2m to sign him in 2018 and will presumably want to recoup as much of that money as possible before allowing the Brazilian to depart.
