Earlier on Thursday, we covered a story from Italy regarding the loan deal taking Nikola Vlasic from West Ham United to Torino.

The Serie A side had agreed a deal with the Hammers regarding the Croatian’s transfer to Italy, where he would stay on loan for a season with an option to buy at €15m + some bonuses.

That was in the process of being done, and West Ham had even given the player permission to undergo a medical ahead of schedule to speed matters up.

The clubs were in the process of exchanging documents on Wednesday, and it appears the deal is now on the verge of being announced.

We say that because Gianluca Di Marzio took to Twitter to reveal that Vlasic’s contract with Torino has been ‘deposited’ and the transfer already appears on the league’s website, meaning it’s been accepted.

This means West Ham and their Italian counterparts are one step away from announcing it.
