Hakan Calhanoglu has been linked with a move to the Premier league for much of his career.
Since swapping Bayer Leverkusen for AC Milan in the summer 2017 transfer window, the attacking midfielder has reportedly been the subject of English interest ahead of every transfer window.
Now Calciomercato bring the story up to date. They claim West Ham have been interested for a long time, and have even contacted the player’s entourage, whereas Leicester City are now also said to be keen on the player.
Turkish club Fenerbahce are interested, but would almost certainly struggle with the finances of a move.
An estimated price is put at €30m for the 25 year old, who has a contract with Milan until June 2021.
The left sided player has appeared in 43 games for his club this season, only managing to score twice, against F91 Dudelange and Atalanta, and adding thirteen assists.
It’s unlikely he’d be first choice for either West Ham or Leicester, but conceivable he’d be somewhere on the list.
