West Ham United could be back in for Juventus forward Simone Zaza as the Premier League side struggle to get a deal done to sign AC Milan star Carlos Bacca. Zaza has been linked with a move to the East London side in the past, but they will need to convince the player to leave Italy.

Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio has this morning revealed Zaza is back on the radar of West Ham if they fail to land Bacca this summer. The Hammers are keen to bring in a top class forward in this transfer window as they look to push on from last season, and have been linked with a host of strikers in recent weeks.

Despite the constant work trying to get the Bacca deal done, West Ham are yet to convince the Colombia international, and Zaza could be an alternative.

However, Zaza has stated in the past week he is keen to remain in Serie A after being linked with a big money move to Bundesliga side Wolfsburg. There are still continual reports in Germany of Bundesliga interest.

The Italy international failed to hold down a regular place in the Juventus side last season following his transfer from Sassuolo, so if he intends to stay in his home country he may need to find another Italian club.
