London rivals Arsenal and West Ham have reportedly both made the same scouting mission this week.
According to Record, the clubs were present at the Estádio do Dragão, where Porto beat Leicester City 5-0 in the Champions League and got their place in the knock-out stage.
Porto striker André Silva, who has been much linked to Arsenal recently, scored a brace and made an assist. It’s now been 12 goals for him this season.
André Corona won Record’s Man of the Match award, and he was responsible for leading the way for Porto’s win with one goal and one assist early in the game.
West Ham officials are frequently seen in Portugal, especially in Porto games, but it’s still unclear who their target is.
It’s unlikely they would go all the way to Portugal just to watch Leicester, especially because the Foxes used many reserves. So there’s probably some Porto players who the Hammers have been keeping their eyes on.
Record claims that almost 30 clubs sent emissaries for the game.
