There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Crystal Palace and West Ham United are still showing interest in Fenerbahce defender Jayden Oosterwolde.
The Dutchman was linked with a move to the Premier League during the summer transfer window after reports the two London clubs were looking to sign the 23-year-old, along with Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa.
Sabah today report that both Crystal Palace and West Ham are planning to move for the left sided defender when the transfer opens in the new year.
Despite a long-term injury to the player the two English sides are still said to be keen on signing him in January, along with Serie A giants AS Roma.
The Turkish media outlet say Fenerbahce will open the door to any interested clubs who are prepared to pay in the region of €20m.
Oosterwolde made 39 appearances for Fenerbahce last season, but a recent ACL injury has ruled him out for the rest of the season, so a January move would certainly be a shock.
He’s contracted to the Yellow Canaries until June 2027.
