Celta Vigo midfielder Okay Yukuslu has been left out of the club’s matchday squad for their clash against Granada as he appears to close in on a move to West Bromwich Albion.
That’s according to La Voz de Galicia, who say the player is aiming to leave the Spanish club before Monday’s deadline.
Yokuslu has been heavily linked with a move to West Brom over the last week, with Sam Allardyce adding to his relegation-threatened squad late in the window.
Earlier today we covered reports from Spain that stated the midfielder was ‘one step away’ from finalising his move to the Hawthorns.
That appears to be the case, with La Voz now stating he has been left out of the squad for Sunday’s clash with Granada at home.
This is backed up elsewhere in Spain, where it is also claimed the Turkish midfielder hasn’t trained with his club today ahead of the game, despite training with them yesterday.
That’s as clear an indication as any that a move is on the cards, with West Brom seemingly very close to finalising another deal this week.
