West Bromwich Albion consultant Giuliano Terraneo has reportedly sent an email to Galatasaray as he wants to hold talks with Garry Rodrigues over a potential transfer.

Sabah report the former Fenerbahce sporting director is interested in signing Rodrigues as West Brom look for a quick return to the Premier League.

Rodrigues has been closely linked with a move to Newcastle United in the past few weeks and Sabah say West Brom are now in the picture.

Despite Terraneo’s interest, Sabah believe the player unlikely to accept a move to a Championship club as he’s preparing for next season’s Champions League with Galatasaray.

West Brom have previously been linked with a move for Besiktas winger Jeremain Lens and it seems the Baggies are looking strengthen in the wide attacking areas.

Newcastle United have also been showing an interest in Rodrigues with claims earlier this month the Magpies have made another approach for the Cape Verde international.

In the past two transfer windows Newcastle United have made attempts to sign Rodrigues, but have had to two bids rejected by Galatasaray.

It was this week reported in England that West Brom are easing transfer influence away from Terraneo but he’ll still have some role until the end of his contract in September.
