Isaac Price brought his Everton career to an end last summer and decided on a new adventure in Belgian football.

He’d been through the Everton youth system but needed to find a new club to get more experience in senior football. Standard Liege offered him the opportunity to do that, and the decision to join them appears to have been the correct one.

Price made 29 appearances for Standard Liege in a variety of midfield roles and his performances there have caught the eyes of interested clubs, including West Brom.

Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports West Brom are in talks and even ‘working on a deal’ to sign the player.

He has a contract with Standard Liege lasting until June 2027, but it’s believed he could leave the club for as little as €2m this summer.

West Brom are discussing personal terms with the youngster, and the move would be on the basis of him signing a five year contract with the Baggies.

Preston North End have also been keen, although it’s West Brom moving ahead to seal this deal.
