Fenerbahce defensive midfielder Josef de Souza has told the Turkish media he’ll consider his options at the end of the season.

The Brazilian has again been linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion after previously being linked with the Premier League side last summer.

Souza came very close to signing for West Brom, but the deal collapsed at the last minute.

Speaking to Turkish newspaper Gunes, Souza said: “I am a player of Fenerbahce and I have a contract there. I don’t know about any offers, I am only focused on the remaining games. I’ll consider it at the end of the season. If my team wants me to leave and I’ll see what I can do.”

Last month we covered reports from Turkey that West Brom technical consultant Giuliano Terraneo was interested in signing Souza and planned to travel to Istanbul for talks.

Terraneo signed Sousa for Fenerbahce when he was working for the Turkish club during the 2015/16 season, and it seems he wants to be reunited with his former player.

However, it’s likely Souza would only be interested in a move to the Hawthorns if West Brom remain in the Premier League.
