AC Milan’s Chaka Traorè could join West Bromwich Albion in the final days of the winter market, according to Calciomercato.
The Serie A side are working on carrying out a few exits before the window closes.
Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani, along with directors Geoffrey Moncada and Antonio D’Ottavio, are evaluating a few ‘open cases’, including Traorè, who is on West Brom’s agenda.
The Rossoneri’s management plan to send the 19-year-old on a loan deal, without including any option or obligation to buy.
Calciomercato say the winger’s ‘qualities are undisputed’ and the Italian club’s initial plan was to let him develop under Stefano Pioli’s orders. However, they have changed their stance because of West Brom.
It’s said Carlos Corberán’s side and Swiss side Lausanne-Sport have carried out surveys for the Ivory Coast attacker.
This contact would have likely been made with Milan, who have ‘reached an agreement’ with both the Baggies and Lausanne-Sport. Traorè’s choice is still to be determined to know if he’ll join the Championship side or move to Switzerland on a dry loan deal.
Traorè is ideally looking for regular minutes to continue his growth in the second half of this season.
