After securing promotion to the Premier League, West Bromwich Albion manager Slaven Bilic is keen to bolster his squad for next season.
According to Turkish newspaper Fanatik, the Baggies are interested in signing Besiktas attacking midfielder Adem Ljajic, and, as previously reported, Domagoj Vida.
Bilic managed Besiktas between 2013 and 2015, and Fanatik say he’s looking to raid his old club by signing the pair.
The Serbian attacking midfielder is currently unsettled at Besiktas but been one of the key players for Sergen Yalcin’s side during the last few games of the season.
It’s reported West Brom are preparing an €8m offer for the player, and Besiktas could be keen to sell because of their poor financial situation.
Ljajic, is one of highest earners at Besiktas so the Black Eagles could look to offload him this summer in order to balance the books. The situation is also the same with Vida as he earns the biggest salary at the club, and West Brom could prove to be a financial solution for the Turkish club this summer.
