West Brom have upped their scouting under Tony Pulis and appear on scouting lists from around European football. Therefore it’s no surprise to find out they had someone at the match between Nigeria and Senegal recently.

Played at Barnet’s stadium, the match was a 1-1 draw, and All Nigeria Soccer report several Premier League clubs were in attendance. West Brom were joined by Crystal Palace and Manchester United, and Championship club Newcastle United also sent a representative.

All Nigeria Soccer believe the scouts will have been watching players such as Moses Simon, Wilfred Ndidi, Eddy Onazi and Oghenekaro Etebo. Ndidi is almost certainly off the agenda for West Brom, given he’s only just joined Leicester City and is doing well.

Onazi is a central midfielder playing for Trabzonspor, and has repeatedly been linked with a move to the Premier League. Moses Simon is a 21 year old winger playing for Gent, and West Brom have repeatedly scouted in Belgium this season, so he could be the one.

Etebo also has some links to West Brom scouting. The 21 year old midfielder plays in Portugal for Feirense, and West Brom have scouted the club this season.
