Fanatik report West Bromwich Albion are still following Besiktas’ Kerim Frei and are lining up a bid for the player.
Frei has only found himself getting chances in the Turkish Cup, but the 23-year old showed good promise in these games. He was expected to remain at Besiktas for the second half of the season, but the Turkish club have now signed Ryan Babel and are looking to add another winger in Tunay Torun.
This is likely to mean Kerim’s chances will more limited, and the Turkish international might tempted to leave if the situation remains the same.
Fanatik claim West Brom manager Tony Pulis wants to see Kerim Frei in his team for the second half of the season and is ready to put in bid to sign the Besiktas winger.
Pulis believes the former Fulham man will be a decent addition to his squad but Besiktas will want to keep their player as they believe he can still be an key player in the future.
Kerim is also wanted by Turkish club Antalyaspor as they’ll only sell Eto’o to Besiktas if Kerim moves the other way. Frei, who also had loan spell at Cardiff City, has played 13 games for Besiktas in all competitions, scoring 4 goals.
