A deal to take Leeds United’s Charlie Taylor to West Bromwich Albion could finally happen in this transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
The Leeds United left back was linked with a move to the Premier League side in the last transfer window, but a deal never materialised.
The Telegraph have reported on potential transfers during the current window, and they believe West Brom still have a chance of landing Taylor. West Brom manager Tony Pulis is keen to add some youth to his back four, and the Leeds United star is a serious option for the West Midlands side.
Taylor has impressed for Leeds United this season during their promotion push, and the 23-year-old has been a key figure in Garry Monk’s side.
During the last window West Brom tried to sign Taylor, but the youngster took the decision to remain with the Championship side. Pulis subsequently turned his attention to former AC Milan defender Kevin Constant as covered by us in in September.
However, a deal couldn’t be done to bring in Constant, and the 29-year-old still remains a free agent.
