Torino have joined the race to sign Sassuolo forward Diego Falcinelli, according to claims in the Italian media. The 25-year-old, who has been on loan at Crotone, is one of the many forwards recently linked with a move to West Bromwich Albion.

TMW have reported Torino are looking at possible players to come in this summer, and Sassuolo pair Falcinelli and Gianmarco Ferrari are both on their shortlist. Torino boss Sinisa Mihajlovic has identified he needs to sign a defender and forward this summer, and the two Sassuolo players are prime targets for the Serie A club.

Earlier in the month we covered reports from Italy that West Brom sent a scout to the game between Juventus and Crotone. The purpose of the trip was for West Brom to get a lowdown on Falcinelli ahead of the summer window.

Tony Pulis will look to bolster his attacking options in the next window, and Falcinelli is an option for the Premier League side.
