Club ready to make offer – Want to convince Leeds United and Whites player

Earlier today, Siamo La Roma stated Leeds United’s Diego Llorente wants AS Roma to buy him outright. It was also reported the Whites want around €3-3.5m, but the Giallorossi haven’t yet made the final decision on whether to purchase him in the summer window.

The 30-year-old has been out on loan at the Serie A side since January 2023, and is keen to return to the Stadio Olimpico next season.

Real Betis could try and get ahead of the Italian club in the transfer chase. Two days ago, we covered claims from Spain that the La Liga side are keen to sign the Leeds defender this summer.

Spanish journalist Samuel Silva took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to claim Llorente’s name is ‘very well placed’ in Real Betis’ target list.

He adds Manuel Pellegrini’s side are looking to buy the former Real Sociedad man, and to do this, they are willing to make an offer to convince both him and the Whites.

Roma are still in the picture, but the journalist says they are aiming for another loan deal. This could give Real Betis an advantage, provided their offer can convince the player and Daniel Farke’s side.
