Napoli star Victor Osimhen has admitted he will sit and discuss his situation with his agents in the summer amid links to Manchester United.
The Nigerian forward has been in superb form for the Serie A side this season, scoring 23 goals in 28 games in all competitions and establishing himself as one of the best strikers in Europe.
At 24-years-old he appears to have an extremely bright future ahead of him and that has naturally seen the biggest sides in Europe linked with a move.
Manchester United are one of them, with Erik ten Hag’s side on the hunt for a new number nine after letting Cristiano Ronaldo depart before the World Cup.
Osimhen is seemingly one of the players on their radar and a report yesterday even made it clear that he is ranked higher internally at Old Trafford than the likes of Randal Kolo Muani.
The Napoli striker has now commented on his situation, admitting talks will be held in the summer in comments that can only be seen as a boost to Manchester United’s hopes of getting him.
“I don’t know what the future holds,” he told journalist Patrick Berger.
“At end of season I will sit with my agents & discuss everything. I will also talk to the club. I’m grateful to Napoli. We’ll find a good solution together.”
