Brentford, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are all in the race to sign Olivier Giroud, reports from Italy say.

Tutto Mercato Web today features a story claiming that with the difficulty for his contract renewal at Milan, it’s possible he’ll leave the club for free this summer.

It’s claimed that despite meetings taking place for a new deal, there’s ‘some distance’ between the parties, and that could open a possibility for the interested club.

The Premier League seems to be a potential destination for Giroud, with the story claiming there are clubs of ‘different levels’ wanting him, and those are Brentford, Crystal Palace and West Ham.

The striker has 12 goals and six assists for Milan this season. That’s another positive year for him at the club, following the one where they won the league, and that’s why Milan were really keen on keeping him.

The Rossoneri’s offer has apparently already been made, so it should be up to Giroud and his staff to analyse what Brentford, Crystal Palace and West Ham will put on the table.
