With five goals and three assists so far, Richarlison’s impressive start in the Premier League is deservedly getting a lot of attention.
The Brazilian didn’t need any time to adapt, and despite not playing for a top club, was able to settle in quickly and show what he was signed for.
But this success comes with a price, which for Watford, is the eyes from big Premier League clubs all over the wonderkid.
In the past few weeks, Richarlison has been linked to clubs such as Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, and now even Chinese Super League sides are said to be interested in the 20-year-old.
However, nothing has come for the player yet, as learned by Sport Witness on Tuesday. The news is treated by Watford as normal speculation, and nothing official has arrived to the club so far.
Richarlison has been totally focused on doing well during his first season for Watford, as he feels good at the club, especially because of the good relationship he has with his teammate and friend Heurelho Gomes.
The Hornets have been trying to reach new standards lately, and now see it as a real possibility with Marco Silva’s great start managing the club.
But with both their boss and their top scorer being in the spotlight, Watford will still have to work hard to keep them when summer comes.
