Watford and Malaga have reportedly opened negotiations for the transfer of Isaac Success to the Spanish side.
As reported by AS this Monday, Malaga are currently in need of a forward for the rest of the season and plan to sign him on a six-month loan spell.
The 22-year-old already has some experience playing in Spain. He belonged to Granada between 2014 and 2016, until being finally acquired by Watford in a €15m deal.
AS have also learned that the player fancies a return to the country, so it really looks like the transfer is the best thing for all parties involved.
The Nigerian player struggled with injuries in his first season in England, and that’s why he only made 19 appearances for the Hornets that year.
But since Marco Silva’s arrival at the club, things have gone from bad to worse for him, as he’s only played 44 minutes in an EFL Cup game since the summer.
