Spanish midfielder José Manuel Jurado arrived at Watford at the start of last season in a €9m deal from Spartak Moscow, but he could be packing his bags again this summer after the departure of Quique Sanchez Flores from the Premier League club.
According to Spanish website AS, Quique Sanchez Flores, who is now the manager of Espanyol, wants Jurado at in La Liga at his new club, as he believes the 30-year-old could be the ‘ideal organiser’ in his midfield.
AS reckon Jurado is no longer a key player at Watford, after the departure of Sanchez Flores, and that the Premier League club would consider a sale.
In fact, Watford are ready to take a loss on the player, and would let him leave for €6m. A move sounds like it may well fit in with everyone involved.
Jurado made 27 league appearances for Watford last season, and has another couple of years left on his contract.
