The Colombian media today shares some interesting information on the future of Watford loanee Luis Suárez.

The striker, who’s spent the season at La Liga side Real Zaragoza, has been impressing in Spain and is expected to be sold this summer.

Blu Radio this week featured an interview with Valmiro Viana, a director of Suárez’s first club, Club Deportivo Versalles, who talked a lot about the player’s initial years in football.

Besides explaining that the striker had shown big potential since the start of his career, Viana also claimed to know some things about his future as well.

As relayed by Gol Caracol, the official has claimed that Watford will soon buy the remaining 50% share of the player. That part belongs to Suarez’s second club Leon, who he joined on a move from Versalles. It’s said the Hornets will pay €600k for that ‘in the coming days’.

Viana has also spoken about the clubs who’ve been interested in Suarez this year. Quoted by Gol Caracol, he said: “His idea is to go to a club that plays the Champions League. He had approaches from Galatasaray and Valencia, but the most concrete offers are those of Atlético de Madrid and especially of Lazio.”
