Ah, Stefano Sturaro.

It wouldn’t have really been deadline day without the Italian media pushing out another claim of the Juventus midfielder potentially moving to England.

Around half the Premier League’s club have been linked with Sturaro over the past few months, with all kinds of claims about talks and offers for the player.

In recent days it’s felt more like Sturaro would be moving to another Serie A club, rather than swapping Italy for England, but TMW insist there’s been late movements.

TMW claim, on Thursday morning, that Watford have made a late offer for the player.

‘Watford are serious’ it’s stated, and Javi Gracia’s club are said to have submitted a loan offer. It’s a ‘dry’ loan so wouldn’t include a purchase option or obligation.

TMW seem to think the move is possible, but there’s a fight against the clock.

Sturaro is 25 years of age and can play various midfield roles, and has also been used as a fullback. Juventus have kept him around in recent years because of his flexibility as a squad player.
