You won’t be surprised by this after the transfer of Ignazio Pussetto from Udinese to Watford, but the Hornets are sending a player or two the other way.

It was already reported one of them could be Filip Stuparevic, who was spotted playing a friendly for the Serie A side earlier this week, but there’s also Marvin Zeegelaar.

The left-back spent the second half of last season with Udinese on loan, and has yet to feature for Watford during this campaign.

In fact, the process of him returning to Italy is well underway, as Udinese Blog are reporting the Dutchman arrived in Udine on Thursday, and underwent his medicals ahead of a move on Friday morning.

Not only that, but they believe the transfer could be ‘outright’ this time instead of a loan.

The idea the deal is on the verge of being completed is also backed by Gazzetta dello Sport, who stated in their Friday edition that ‘all that was needed was the official announcement’.
