Yaser Asprilla’s agent continues to shop the Watford player around various clubs, looking for a good sporting opportunity and seemingly a great contract.
On Monday we covered a report from France which stated Rennes hope the player’s agent ‘comes to his senses’ and starts being more reasonable in talks on personal terms.
The Ligue 1 side had already agreed a deal with Watford which would see them pay €28m plus potential bonuses. They then offered after tax wages of €1.2m per year but that wasn’t enough for the 20-year-old’s camp.
FC Porto have been linked, although it’s unlikely they’d offer more, and Leicester City have repeatedly been credited with interest in recent days.
French journalist Sebastien Denis now reports the Watford player has been offered to Lyon this week. However, the club don’t sound too keen right now as it’s stated OL’s priority is ‘getting rid of their undesirables’.
Asprilla’s agent will therefore have to continue his efforts and try some other clubs.
Interestingly, the Watford youngster is represented by the same agency as Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran, who is also being shopped around clubs this summer.
