According to a claim in the Greek media, Watford goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis is considering returning to Greece this summer, with Olympiacos showing an interest in the player.

The Greek international is currently on loan with Watford from Udinese.

Pageview.Gr report the Watford loanee is a target for Olympiacos as the club look to bring in more Greek players in the next transfer window.

It’s claimed the 30 year old has also expressed his desire to return to Greece, after leaving Panathinaikos five years ago.

Karnezis is likely to cost Olympiacos €1.5m, at least according to Greek slant.

There have been no reports if Karnezis will be remaining at Watford beyond this season but his mistake against Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the week will not have done him any favours if he planned to remain in England.

Pontus Dahlberg will also arrive at Watford this summer after the Premier League side purchased the 19 year old keeper from IFK Goteborg in the last window.
