According to a claim in the Greek media, Norwich City and Watford sent a scout to watch the Athens derby on Sunday as Olympiacos beat their rivals AEK 2-0.
Goals from Mady Camara and Ruben Semedo ensured Pedro Martins’ side continued their unbeaten start to the season and they’ve now picked up 22 points in their opening eight matches.
Sdna.Gr report that along with Norwich and Watford, scouts from Lyon, Saint Etienne, Eintracht Frankfurt and Feyenoord were also present at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium.
There are no reports who Norwich and Watford were monitoring, but Sdna believe the focus may have been on the likes of Daniel Podence, Mady Kamara, Konstantinos Tsimikas, Andreas Bouchalakis and Georgios Masuras.
Masuras entered the game in the 61st minute to replace former Nottingham Forest player El Arbi Hillel Soudani, while the other four players started the game for Olympiacos.
Both Premier League sides are in the bottom three after ten games and subsequently they could be looking to bolster their squads in the new year.
