M’Baye Niang could still be signed by Watford as a permanent transfer this summer.

The attacker, who’s on loan from Milan until the end of the season, is attracting wider attention.

Newspaper Tuttosport claim Torino are once again keen on signing the player, just like in the January window.

But what Torino need to wait for is Watford’s decision over Niang. Although there’s an option for the Hornets to buy him permanently for €18m in the summer, the club are still trying to convince Milan to sell for less than the figures agreed.

That’s why Tuttosport treats the possibility of a permanent deal as ‘not ruled out’, while Torino wait and see.

Having joined Watford in January, Niang has managed to score two goals and make two assists in 13 Premier League appearances so far.

CapturarCertainly not bad numbers for a winger, but perhaps not good enough to make Watford think €18m is a great price.
