Fotomac claim Galatasaray are interested in Napoli defender Ivan Strinic.

The Croatia international has also been linked with a move to Watford in recent weeks.

The Turkish side were interested in signing Juventus left back Kwadwo Asamoah, according to the Turkish newspaper, but they’ve been unable to convince the Serie A champions to sell the player.

Subsequently Galatasaray have switched their attention to Strinic, and the Turkish giants are hoping their manager Igor Tudor can convince his compatriot to join the club. Galatasaray are prepared to offer Napoli €2.5m for the defender.

It’s also been reported Fiorentina are another club interested in signing Strinic, and it seems Watford will need to act quickly if they want to bring in the Croatian defender.

Yesterday we covered reports from Italy that Watford are showing an interest in Strinic as Marco Silva looks for a left back to compete with Jose Holebas.

The Premier League side would likely be hoping they can sign Strinic on the cheap after already spending €50m+ in this window.

Strinic joined Napoli in 2015, but has hardly figured in his three years with the Serie A side.
