Watford midfielder Kwasi Sibo is on the verge of completing a move to Real Betis this summer.
That’s according to ABC de Sevilla, who say he will sign with the Spanish side for two years to reinforce their reserve team.
The newspaper explains Betis are ‘working to finalise’ a deal for the 23-year-old, who has spent the last two seasons on loan from Watford at Ibiza.
He proved to be a big hit there, helping to secure promotion to the second division but has since returned to Vicarage Road this summer.
His return will be a short one, though, with Betis set to complete his signature sooner rather than later if there are no ‘last-minute problems’.
Sibo will travel to Seville to sign his contract and pass a medical for the reserve team ‘as soon as possible’ as they look to reinforce their team.
According to ABC’s information, the midfielder already has an agreement in place with Betis and will join them for two seasons once he has been released by Watford. The latter process ‘should not take too long’.
