Sometimes things just go from bad to worse as a footballer and it seems that is the case for Watford’s Ignacio Pussetto.
That’s because it appears his season has come to an end after he picked up an injury while on loan with Sampdoria.
He joined the Italian side on loan in the summer after being requested by then manager Marco Giampaolo as a reinforcement of his forward line.
However, as Club Doria 46 report, he was ‘never decisive’ for the club, making just five appearances for the blucerchiata so far this season.
That’s not going to improve either as has now picked up a ‘bad knee injury’ which will see him miss the remainder of a season which has been one to forget for him.
He’s now set to return to Watford at the end of the campaign, although Club Doria say he will actually end up at the Pozzo’s other club Udinese who he originally joined in 2018 from Argentina before moving to Watford in 2020.
He’s bounced between the two clubs since before moving to Sampdoria in September, where he’s been a massive failure and is now out injured.
Their fans are now questioning what the point of the transfer was as he gears up to leave and Watford and Udinese work out what comes next.
